All of our meals are freshly prepared on the premises using local produce from from local producers and suppliers. Our menu’s change daily, aiming to provide you with just a sample of the wonderful quality and variety of food that is on offer in Yorkshire. Eggs are free range from our neighbours hens and a full list of all our suppliers is given below. Please inform us when booking if you have any special dietary needs.

Breakfast is served each morning between 8.00 and 9.30am.
Dinner is served from 6.00pm with the last sitting at 7.30pm.
(Sorry if this is earlier than you are used to but it can be a long day!!).

Dinner is £25.oo for 3 courses or £20.00 for 2 courses
Please note we do not necessarily serve dinners every night of the week – please check when booking.

Pea and mint fritters with a poached egg.
Warm Yorkshire Blue cheesecake with roast tomatoes and homemade pesto.
Spicy butternut squash and coconut soup.


Roast chicken supreme with white mushroom gravy and dauphinoise potatoes.
Spiced lamb rump with sweet potato chips.
Pork chop with homemade rhubarb chutney and new potatoes.


Chocolate salted caramel mousse with homemade raspberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream.
Lemon cheesecake.
Selection of local cheeses.

Intense nose of ripe fruits, spices and roast coffee.  A dark red wine with full rounded palate, silky matured tannins and vanilla notes.

Chateau Leon Bordeaux 2010:                                                bottle £25.00

 Beautiful deep hue with crimson tints. Profound nose marrying fragrances of blackcurrant and quite pronounced oak. On the palate, a robust wine suffused with oak that offers up delicious aromas of graphite and roasted coffee.

France – Very pale pink colour, well balanced and typical of the provençal region.
